Geocache Description:

Many of us geocachers know our trees as we usually love being in the outdoors. One of my favorite type of trees is the Juniper. Passing by this street and seeing the street name always makes me remember how beautiful these trees are. Juniper trees and shrubs are in the cypress family. These evergreen conifers feature leaves that can either be like needles or scales, and most of the species change from needle form to scale form as they mature. Most junipers offer at least some level of drought resistance. Although there may not be any close by, they do stand tall and proud in many parts of the bay area. What's one of your favorite type of trees?
