Na przywarszawskim odcinku rzeki znajdziemy wiele łowisk różnych gatunków ryb i na różne pory roku. Nie zabraknie tu też typowych uregulowań, takich jak ostrogi (główki) czy opaski. Ale co najciekawsze, znajdziemy tutaj także wiele dzikich miejsc, które w tak bliskiej odległości od miasta są prawdziwym rarytasem.
Dominującymi gatunkami są krąp i płoć. Przeważają ryby o wielkości 100-200 gram, jednak bardzo często wędkarze mogą pochwalić się sztukami ponad półkilogramowymi. Na haczyk trafiają także ryby charakterystyczne dla rzek takie jak jazie, klenie i certy, a nawet brzany. Ich obecność świadczy o tym, że rzeka jest coraz czystsza i wrażliwe gatunki znów znajdują w niej dobre warunki do bytowania. Przez 2, góra 3 miesiące jest także szansa na leszcza - i to niemałego.
