The Old Fish Lady
As a kid we use to walk this road as my Uncle lived just West of here. There once was a smoke fish house here where you could purchase smoked fish as well as other varieties. The old lady that ran the place had warts on her nose and chin and she scared the begeeses out of us. We thought she was some kind of witch or something. We use to look at the dark clouds and think that she had made it rain on us. Oh what an imagination we had.
The fish lady has been gone many years now and I believe the truck company came to the location sometime in the seventies. The ditch is pretty steep so be careful. Not sure how the hide will tend come Winter but will wait and see. Enjoy a ride along Edwards Road because there are some more caches just up the road.
