This originally was just going to be a normal Restin' cache, but upon some interesting discoveries, we decided to go another route.
Both myself and Mrs. 62CacheCrew are history buffs and have been fascinated by the history of the area we recently moved to, especially the more macabre history, to which this story definitely fits.
While out scouting for cache locations, we found this spot and had no idea what we were about to discover.
We ended up spending days and days trying to find out where local archive materials were for this area. It is very unclear, but with a recent project happening in Belleville to consolidate all local archives into the main Belleville library, we had a place to start. Eventually we found what we needed and man, what a story.

** IMPORTANT **
PLEASE be gentle looking for the cache. There are ruins at the site that we do not want disturbed. The cache does not require you to sift thru rocks, the container can be spotted by a good eye.
