Spirit Quest - Swanson Cemetery AKA Forest Hill Traditional Cache

The cache is located of the entrance road to the cemetery. It is no where near any graves, it should be fairly easy find especially with the use of the hint. As with any cemetery cache please be respectful of the grounds and any possible visitors or mourners that might not understand what we are doing. Limit your search to daylight hours only please.

We had the good fortune to speak to one of the cemetery board members about the history of this cemetery. This gentle man also happens to be Swanson. While this cemetery was originally a pioneer cemetery, and even went though a period of neglect, today it has been cleaned up and the cemetery board has even made some spaces available for the folks in the nearby housing developments that had requested it. The first burial is listed as 1895. The cemetery was inactive from about 1980, until the late 1990's.

The cache is located off of the entrance road, in the woods. It will be on your right as you drive into the cemetery. It is just on the inside of the old dilapidated cemetery fence, about chest high for the average. This hint will pretty much tell you exactly where to look.

While there are no posted hours, I'm asking that the cacher only search for this cache during daylight hours out of respect for the cemetery. While you are here please take your time and look around, and enjoy all of the history here, but remember to be respectful, since the cemetery is still active it is possible that there could be mourners or other visitors that might not understand what we are doing. The cache is accessed from the cemetery entrance road. You are looking for a small container, the hint should lead you right to it.
