One room, one school, taught grades kindergarten through eighth grade and some even through twelfth grade. The Frenchville School Building, now over a hundred years old, circa 1914-1961, closed in 1961, but is still a part of the community. A reunion is held every 2 years when you can tour the schoolhouse which is set up like it was in 1961. You can also tour the building when it is open during the 100 mile yard sale every third weekend of July.
When the coins for a CCGT trail are gone, that trail will be archived.
