Banj Beach Traditional Cache

Old Sibenik citizens have happy and wistfully remember on Banj beach. The idea of Banj beach renovation was born in 2010 when there were created all conditions for it. The beach is open in 2012 and so the city is returned to the sea again. That encouraged tourism boom and the development of the old city center also.

Pebble beach is only a few minutes walk from the old town, where you can swimm and enjoy the view of St Jacob's Cathedral, which is under UNESCO protection.

On the beach there is a promenade, bar-nightclub, sports grounds, fitness park in the open, toilets, playground, parking ...

HR: Plaža Banj je u povijesti bilo kupalište i stari ga se Šibenčani rado i sa sjetom sjećaju. Ideja o obnovi ove plaže rodila se 2010. godine kada su se stvorili svi preduvjeti za to. Plaža je otvorena 2012., a grad Šibenik je vratila moru, potakla uzlet turizma i razvoj stare gradske jezgre.

Šljunčana plaža se nalazi samo par minuta šetnje od stare gradske jezgre, gdje plivajući možete uživati u pogledu na Katedralu sv. Jakova koja je pod zaštitom UNESCO-a.

Na samoj plaži nalazi se obalna šetnica, bar-noćni klub, sportska igrališta, fittness park na otvorenom, sanitarni čvor, dječje igralište, parking...
