Exploring Southwest Sandstone Formations
This cache lets you get up close & personal with some of the Southwest's wonderful sandstone formations. The loging of this cache requires a bit of climbing and a degree of agility. Teamwork can be a big help here. Use caution & move slowly making sure of all hand holds & the placement of your feet. No special climbing gear required, just caution & common sense. Please ensure that you cover the cache as you found it to ensure that it does not blow away. Some good swag for the first to find! Have fun & be careful! Let the kids enjoy it but exercise caution as you let them roam. Adult supervision for final approach to cache is required. Watch for critters keep them & you safe. Any spoilers included in logs or photos will be deleted. Please log DNFs & pertinent notes. These are very important to me in tracking the condition of the cache & maintaining it in a good condition for searchers.
If you are interested in some old west history, check out the nearby cache "The Wild Wild West of Canyon Diablo", about 8 miles west of this location. Lots of great railroad & wild west stories & photos there!
