Our Girl Scout Troop is learning about Geocaching and we have put together our own cache to maintain and watch as the finds roll in! The girls will be earning badges for completing and maintaining our cache. The Troop also took part in creating their own TB to send off in this cache.
The cache is located within Creekview Park off of 5th Street. It is not far from the parking area. Follow the gravel path from the gate to the left, and upstream towards the steep embankment. Careful on the final approach...the soil and leaves on the steep embankment can be slippery. CACHE is not more than 6-8 feet off of the trail.
The park has a nice playground area, baseball fileds and trails along the Brodhead Creek. Watch for the Bald Eagles!
