Located just off Innes Road on the banks of Cardinal Creek, the cache has a log and pencil and there is room left for a few very small trade items. There’s also something extra for the FTF.
Leave the geodog in the car for this one, as there are lots of burrs and some other prickly flora in the surrounding area. You can avoid them for the most part by making an indirect approach to GZ along the south side of the tree line.
Parking:
During the summer, there is room to park on the shoulder of the road. In addition, immediately west of the cache location there are two “driveway” entrances from a time when there were buildings here, so you can park right off the road if you want. During the winter, you’ll need to judge whether there is enough room for your car on the shoulder or whether you’ll need to park a bit further away and walk over.
PLEASE NOTE: THE LOG HAS NOW BEEN PLACE IN A PLASTIC CONTAINER WHICH FITS EASILY IN THE CACHE BUT KEEPS THE LOG ROLLED AND EASILY REMOVED FROM THE CACHE. AFTER SIGNING, PLEASE ROLL THE LOG AND PLACE IT BACK IN THE CONTAINER. MANY THANKS AND ENJOY THE CACHE!
