Geocache Description:

A small pelican container located on a stop on the Morton Trail.  A well maintained grassy trail with a few hills.

The Morton Trail winds through hardwood forest, thicket, around wetland areas and through open grassland. Enjoy beautiful vistas overlooking the rolling countryside. Stop, relax and listen to the sound of nature at one of the benches placed along the trail that overlooks the wetland.
The cache is located within a 1/2 kilometer on the Morton Trail for a quicker find. Or hike the whole Morton trail approx. 2.5 kms Park is open May 1st to October 15th. 8am to Dusk and during the winter when conditions exist for snow shoeing and ice fishing.
Entrance fee into the park is required. Keep your receipt. Day entrance/camping permit provides you with entrance into all 11 Grand River Parks for that day.

If you park at the main parking lot, take the Beach Trail to the Morton Trailhead
