My event will keep to the established KT formula of food, drink and geochat.
The Romper is close to Manchester Airport, located not far from the Concord Exhibition and Aviation viewing centre. The oldest part of the pub was built some 400 years ago and it used to be called the Red Lion. History has it that at some point the landlord changed the sign outside and the local regulars thought it looked more like a romping kitten than a red lion! Hence over time it became the Romper
The menu hopefully offers something suitable for everyone who wants to eat.
Because the event is being held so close to the airport there will not be any new geocaches going live on the night other than a possible drive-by. This event is intended be a social one.
The pub is more than happy to accommodate well behaved geo-kids! They are not keen on geo-dogs with there being food served.
Please help me by logging your attendance in good time. If you note in your log the number of attendees and whether or not you expect to be eating, I can keep the pub updated and book additional space if we need it.
