Luck, very often, is a geocacher's best friend when your GPS or geoskills fail at GZ. I depend on luck more times than I am willing to omit. Post any story you like about a "Lucky" find.
A lucky find for me was while I was caching with The Hampstead Beagle (THB) when were were doing cache # GC5A7ZV "Part 1, Don't wait Until" on Oct. 3, 2014. The container had come loose from its hide location and was found floating in the pond near the shore line about 20 feet away. It was almost a DNF. Don't know how long it had been floating there or how we spotted it as the container. The contents were dry.
