My son wanted to hide a geocache to celebrate his 5th birthday - this is our first hide! It's appropriately stocked with Superhero-themed party favors, in hopes that other kids (or grown-ups!) that like to play super heroes will find something useful to trade. There is a geocoin and a couple other goodies for FTF, as well as a Travel Bug that we are hoping to track across all 50 states.
This cache is hidden in a very out of the way section of a very popular area (William R. Davie Park.) In fact, we've been going to this park for years and had no clue this nature trail ever existed! This cache is a great one to combine with an afternoon at the park with the family. Note: You don't have to walk through the fenced-in playground area to get to the cache, and you will probably get less raised eyebrows from muggles by walking along the outside perimeter of the fence. However, once you get close to the cache you won't be visible to anyone in the playground area.
