Geocache Description:

Parking is available if you turn onto the dead end road just before entering Ramsey Park at the West entrance on Grove Street. Proceed down the hill to the open grassy area for nearby parking at the end of Glen Street.

Ramsey Park Toys Cache, GCA88, was recently archived.  At the time of archiving it was the 6th oldest existing cache in the state of Minnesota.  I had replaced the container a few years ago in order to keep the cache alive.   Since the original cache is archived, I am now publishing the replacement as a new cache.

At 219 acres in size, Alexander Ramsey Park is the largest municipal park in the State of Minnesota. Termed as the "Little Yellowstone of Minnesota", the park is enhanced by 1930's Civilian Conservation Corps shelters and bridges and picturesque Ramsey Falls. The park serves as a focal point for community events, festivals and summer activities and features campground facilities, shelter houses, four miles of paved hiking trails, a DNR trout stream, scenic overlooks, and a zoo.
