So you've heard of Euro-trash, trailer-trash, and even white-trash, but do you know about geo-trash? I suppose there are two different thoughts that might come to mind.
First, I am placing this on Earthday weekend even though I know it will never be released in time for any local CITO events. (Don't forget to do out and get your souvenir!) But that's OK, right? I mean everyday is Earthday, right? There is plenty of opportunity here for some CITO (cache in, trash out) as you are walking to and from the cache. I always carry a film canister in my geo-toolbag that has one or two of those little plastic grocery bags crammed in it. That way I always have something to pick up and carry the trash away.
Second, good geocaching etiquette means good trades. Remember to always trade up. Meaning, if you take something from a cache be sure to put something or equal or greater value back in. Putting junk in a cache and calling it a trade is the same as littering, in my opinion anyways. I mean does anyone really want that used hair-tie, or a soggy baseball card?
As for the cache... it is a small container with room for a small trade or TB. Getting correct coords while placing this was a little tricky so I took five readings and averaged them. That being said, any geocacher worth their smiley
should be able to walk towards GZ and see something that screams hiding spot. Please replace the natural cammo carefully so this stays well hidden. Cache is winter friendly, though if there is snow you will have to walk through it to get to GZ.
Cheers!
