TinWha: No sign of cache

Think the gardeners have removed it, even though the big sheet of green plastic I used to hide it is still there

We've both been Geocachers since the early 2000s and we created this account together, to place a cache in a London park in 2003.

We moved to Bedfordshire and had a cache under a flagstone on the front of our house, in a front garden. This somewhat confused our elderly neighbours, who could not understand why we invited shifty looking people holding electronic devices into our garden to rumage around in it and leave brightly coloured items in a tupperware box in the entrance to our cellar. My son also created a cache which we maintained on our school run which we kept well stocked with Matchbox vehicles. We archived both caches in 2013 when we moved to Glastonbury and they have been kicking around in the boot of our car for the last couple of years.

Since moving to Glastonbury, we have got a dog and have noticed that "this would be a great place for a Geocache" on more than one occasion. We have consolodated the contents of our archived caches, removing the sweets and placing the items which have survived the resultant sticky mess, into one box.

The cache is named in honour of our male Bengal cat, 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel' who died on 18th April 2015.

A few words about Isambard. He was a real character and much loved in our area. He didn't build any bridges, or railways but he did see off a few local dogs! His sister Cairngorms survives him.

Please respect the area the cache is placed in, tread with care and leave everything as you found it. Don't climb the fence and enter by one of the gates.

Please follow the general rules of Geocaching and take care not to draw attention of local muggles.

Please do not place food items in the cache (nobody wants to eat damp bolied sweets and in time they damage other items.)

Thanks for looking!

Enjoy...
