Geocache Description:

A simple cache a short walk from the Spider Park recreation ground

***congrats to Spacie46 for being FTF.***

DUE TO OUR CACHE BEING MUGGLED TWICE, WE HAVE MOVED THE CACHE LOCATION AND MADE IT TRICKIER TO FIND. Unfortunately, this means no space for swaps.

A first cache for our family, this is located along a path between two of our favourite playparks. The path has a deep ditch along its side, with a number of old bridges that lead to barbed wire fences along the fields. The 'deep ditch' is the conduit which took water from the dams at Redmires to a holding reservoir at Crookes after eventually flowing through a tunnel which started just beyond where Tapton School is now. (Thanks to Mallah for that information)

The cache is a bison tube, at the published coordinates. The original hide point is now marked as a waypoint.

Please sign the log, and replace carefully. We've had a lot of problems with muggles.

Parking is available at either end of the path. Its a lovely (if windy) walk which is cycle free. Its also wheelchair friendly.

Enjoy- and watch out for our other caches coming soon in this area!
