Do penguins like fresh water?
In 1856 first white man to visit Kingston rode through the bush, stopped to admire the view from the lake front, lit his pipe and discarded the match which set set fire to the surrounding bush. The heat from the fire was so great they had to wade into the lake on the horses and wait for hours until the fire subsided. Remember smoking is bad for you and be careful with your matches and other litter so as not to destroy this beautiful spot again.
This is not a camping spot and freedom camping is not permitted. There is a campsite nearby.
Can you see the Penguins?
