Geocache Description:

"Hike and Hunt: Mushrooms"

Friday May 15th, 2015 5:30pm- 7:30pm

Join me as we hike, explore and hunt for morels at Black Hawk Wildlife area.

Jackson County Conservation Calendar of Events

* Mushrooms (morels) are coming into season and what better reason do we need to get together for an evening hike.

* Be sure to wear the proper shoes/boots and clothes for hiking in the timber.

* It is also tick season so make sure to bring your bug repellant .

* A walking stick and grocery bags will come in handy if you have them.

* There is no guarantee of finding any mushrooms, but we will do our best to have fun trying.

* A Naturalist from Jackson County Conservation might be along for the hike to help with any questions you have.

There will be several CITO events planned for the month of June, so keep an eye on the listings for Jackson County and I hope to see you soon.

Please remember that all caches in the Jackson County Conservation Areas are CITO locations.
