This cache has been in need of maintenance for an extended period of time. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since my last contact, I am archiving the cache to keep it from showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

While you’re looking around you can see a bit of history. Visit the historic bell tower after you’ve found this cache that’s stashed next to a large stone.

GPC was one of the first four non-profit Saskatchewan Regional Colleges that were a pilot project started by the government in 1973. At that time, it was known as Cypress Hills College and had a number of rural locations. In 2008, Cypress Hills College and Prairie West Regional College merged voluntarily and became Great Plains College. Today, there are seven regional colleges in Saskatchewan. They offer a wide variety of post-secondary education, skills and safety training, adult basic education and English language training programs. And, regularly host fun events. Please enjoy this GPC geocache and leave us a note in the logbook. There will be swag stuffed into the cache regularly. Check back often :)
