Pepwell Peregrination 3 Traditional Cache

These five Pepwell Peregrination caches form a circular walk of 1 ½ miles or can be done as an extension from the Crossway green circuits No 2.

Some parking is available in Stoney Lane and refreshments facilities are available on the A449. The stroll is 1 ½ miles of easy walking over flat terrain but has some stiles, and as the paths cross working farmland tractors and machinery may be in use. Some sections may contain mud. Please bring your own pencil.

From No2 cross the road, then over the stile and head south across the field, which contains several bee hives, to the stile in the far right hand corner. Cross this stile and make your way south across the small field to a waymark post by a large tree stump. Now head south south east across the large field to Stinton Pool and No3. If you venture to look at the pool and pump house please be careful as the retaining wall is badly damaged, please take care!

If you want to walk to Bumble Hole Trek 1 (gc68etn) the footpath now crosses the dam at Stinton pool, walk south across the field in front of you towards the buildings at Acton Hall. If the footpath has not been reinstated please use the headland. You will come to Acton Hall driveway turn right and head to the A449.
