CHIESA DI PAMBIO(ITALIANO)
La chiesa parrocchiale di San Pietro (San Pedru in dialetto, come il nome della viuzza accanto) si trova a Pambio-Noranco, ex-comune oramai divenuto quartiere della grande Lugano.
L’edificio religioso comparve per la prima volta nei documenti storici nel lontano 1335. Essa costituiva il centro del possedimenti del vescovo di Como.
Nel 1353 si formò il “concilium sancti Petri de Panno”, che comprendeva - oltre alla chiesa - anche i territori di Pambio, Noranco, Pazzallo e Calprino. In seguito, nel 1468, la chiesa divenne parrocchiale.
Nel 1752 la chiesa fu ricostruita e quindi completata, ma non sono stati trovati dati sulla chiesa primitiva. Si suppone però che costituì la matrice delle più recenti parrocchie circostanti, facendo così scivolare la datazione della sua fondazione a prima del XIII secolo; presumibilmente in contemporanea ai primi insediamenti dei possedimenti vescovili comaschi.
A salutarvi sull’uscio troverete un mezzo busto di San Pietro, chiavi paradisiache in mano. Architettonicamente la chiesa presenta uno stile tardo-barocco, con una pianta a croce greca (cioè con quattro braccia perpendicolari e di uguale lunghezza, come la bandiera svizzera).
In uno di questi bracci si situa il coro, di forma semicircolare. Al centro, la cupola è abbellita da un affresco di Tiziano Bernasconi (1865).
Nella cappella alla destra della navata trova posto un organo Mascioni (opus 1027, costruito nel 1979). La storica ditta ha realizzato molti altri organi, sia in Italia che in Ticino (ad esempio a Lugano nella Cattedrale San Lorenzo e nella Santa Maria degli Angioli, nelle chiese di Melide, Morbio Inferiore e Cevio).
L’edificio e il sagrato della chiesa sono ufficialmente iscritti all’inventario dei beni culturali del Canton Ticino (oggetti A1622 e A12118).
RAGGIUNGERE LA CHIESA:
La chiesa di Pambio è facilmente raggiungibile in auto, poiché si trova vicina all’autostrada (entrata/uscita Lugano Sud). Attenzione al traffico generato in certi orari dal centro commerciale di Grancia e agli orari delle funzioni religiose.
La linea 8 degli autobus cittadini TPL si ferma proprio accanto alla chiesa (fermata “S. Pietro chiesa”), ma purtroppo le corse sono pochissime e solo durante i giorni feriali.
Anche la linea 431 dell’autopostale vi porta nei pressi della chiesa, alla fermata “Pambio-Noranco, posta”.
CACHE:
il cache si trova poco fuori dall’area ufficialmente iscritta ai beni culturali, ma comunque vicina alla chiesa. Come al solito, prestate cura nella ricerca… ;) Questo è il mio primo cache, spero possiate apprezzarlo malgrado sia semplice =)

CHIESA DI PAMBIO(ENGLISH)
The parish church of San Pietro (San Pedru in dialect, like the name of the lane where the church is) is situated in Pambio-Noranco, a former municipality which has now become part of Lugano.
The religious building appeared for the first time in historical documents in 1335. It was the center of the possessions of the Bishop of Como.
In 1353 was established the "Concilium de Sancti Petri Cloth", which included - in addition to the church - the territories of Pambio, Noranco, Pazzallo and Calprino. Later, in 1468, the church became a parish.
In 1752 the church was rebuilt and so completed, but no data was found on the early church. However, it is assumed that formed the matrix for the surrounding parishes, thus slipping the dating of its foundation to before the XII century; presumably in conjunction with the first settlements of the possessions bishop of Como.
To greet you at the door you will find a half-bust of St. Peter, with paradise’s keys in his hand. Architecturally, the church has a late Baroque style, with a Greek cross plan (four arms perpendicular and of equal length, like the Swiss flag).
In one of these arms is located the chorus, semicircular shape. At the center, the dome is decorated with a fresco by Tiziano Bernasconi (1865).
In the chapel to the right of the nave, it takes place a Mascioni organ (opus 1027, built in 1979). The historical company has realized many other organs, both in Italy and in Ticino (ie in Lugano Cathedral in San Lorenzo and Santa Maria degli Angeli, in the churches of Melide, Morbio Inferiore and Cevio).
The building and the parvis of the church are official registered in the inventory of the cultural heritage of the Canton Ticino (objects A1622 and A12118).
HOW TO GET TO THE CHIRCH:
The church of Pambio is easily accessible by car, as it is located near the highway (entry/exit Lugano Sud). Because of the shopping center Grancia, I suggest to pay attention to traffic at certain daytimes. Also, be aware of the relgious functions.
Line 8 of the city bus company TPL stops right next to the church ("S. Pietro chiesa" stop), but unfortunately the races are very few and only during working days.
Also the line 431 of the autopostale post-bus takes you near the church, at "Pambio-Noranco, posta" stop.
CACHE:
the cache is located just outside the official cultural heritage area, but still near to the church.
As usual, you should pay attention in research ... ;)

L'église paroissiale de San Pietro (San Pedru en dialecte, c’est aussi le nom de cette ruelle) se trouve dans l’ancienne commune Pambio-Noranco, qui est aujourd’hui un quartier de Lugano.
L'édifice religieux, qui était le centre des possessions de l'évêque de Côme, est apparu pour la première fois dans les documents historiques dès 1335.
En 1353 a été fondé le "Concilium de Sancti Petri Tissu", qui comprenait - en plus de l'église - les terroirs des Pambio, Noranco, Pazzallo et Calprino. Plus tard, en 1468, l'église est devenue une paroisse.
En 1752, l'église a été reconstruite et ainsi complété, mais aucune donnée concernant l'église primitive n'a été trouvé. Cependant, on suppose que cette église a été la matrice pour les paroisses environnantes, ce que fait glisser la datation de sa fondation avant le XIIIe siècle; probablement en liaison avec les premières colonies des possessions épiscopales de Côme.
À l’entrée de l’église vous serez accueilli par une demi-buste de Saint-Pierre, avec les clés du paradis dans ses mains. Architecturalement, l'église possède un style baroque tardif, avec un planimétrie en croix grecque (avec quatre bras perpendiculaires et de longueur égale, c’est-à-dire comme le drapeau suisse).
Dans un de ces bras on trouve le chœur, en forme semi-circulaire. Au centre, le dôme est décoré d'une fresque de Tiziano Bernasconi (1865).
Dans la chapelle à droite de la nef il trouve place un organe Mascioni (opus 1027, construit en 1979). La société historique a réalisé de nombreux autres organes, en Italie et au Tessin (par exemple à Lugano dans la cathédrale de San Lorenzo et de Santa Maria degli Angeli, dans les églises de Melide, Morbio Inferiore et Cevio).
Le bâtiment et le parvis de l’église sont officiellement inscrits dans l'inventaire du patrimoine culturel du canton du Tessin (objets A1622 et A12118).
COMMENT S’Y RENDRE:
L'église de Pambio est facilement accessible en voiture, car c’est situé près de l'autoroute (entrée/sortie Lugano Sud). Je vous suggère de faire attention aux bouchons qui peuvent se former à certains horaires à cause du centre commercial Grancia et aussi aux horaires des functions religieuses.
La ligne 8 du bus communal TPL s’arrête juste à côté de l'église (arrêt "S. Pietro chiesa"), mais malheureusement, les courses sont très peu fréquents et seulement pendant les jours fériales.
Aussi la ligne 432 de l’autopostale vous emmène près de l'église, arrêt "Pambio-Noranco,posta".
CACHE:
le cache est situé juste à l'extérieur de la zone officiellement inscrite au patrimoine culturel, mais quand même près de l'église.
Comme d’habitude faites attention dans la recherche… ;)
