Mt.Tsuriganedou is one of the local agency of the Hachigata Castle that was a base for the governing North Kanto of Hojo for the age of civil wars. A bell was fixed there as the name showed it and carried a duty to connect to Hachigata castle about the invasion of the enemy quickly.
Mt.Tsuriganedou is only 330m above sea level, but we can overlook Kanto plains fantastically and can understand the role the mountain has. And Mt.Nikkou range,Jomo three mountains, Mt.Asama, Mt.Ryougami and Mt.Tsukuba and so on will appear in the distant place. The cashe is somewhere on the mountaintop.
