Hagure Station started a business as a station of the Jobu railroad in 1903 and became the station of Chichibu Railway by a changing name of company in 1916.
The mean vehicle ridership of the day is around one hundred and fifty people, and Hagure Station is a small station in the small village, but is convenient when you use it for the hiking around neighboring sightseeing spots.

波久礼駅は明治36年（1903年）上武鉄道の駅として開業し、大正5年（1916年）社名変更により秩父鉄道の駅となりました。
波久礼駅は、一日の平均乗車人員が百数十人（2009年）程度の寒村にある小さな駅ですが、周辺の観光スポットを巡るハイキングに利用すると便利です。 主なハイキングコースは、玉淀コース（西行戻り橋、少林寺、宗像神社、玉淀河原、水天宮）、円良田コース（円良田湖、千体荒神、少林寺、五百羅漢、鐘撞堂山、大正池）、蜂形コース（玉淀湖、金尾山、風布館、日本水、蜂形城跡、水天宮、玉淀河原）などです。
