Den gamle vegen frå Dale og fram til Fossheim, eller "øvre" som mange seier, utgjer mange stader skillet mellom utmark og innmark. Her finnast og ein steingard langs vegen, og vegen er fin til spaserturar i Norddal.
The old road from Dale to Fossheim draws the line between arable land and the pastures so typical on the Norwegian west coast where the fences keep the animals out rather than in. Along parts of the road is an old stone walll, and the road is great for short walks in Norddal.
