Novy Most - Petistovky /New Most - 500s Traditional Geocache

V této minisérii kešek se chceme věnovat novému Mostu. Tato keška vás zavede na sídliště nazývané Pětistovky. / In this miniseries of caches we want to devote to the new town Most. This cache will take you to a housing estate called “500s”.

Starému (původnímu) Mostu, který byl zlikvidován kvůli těžbě uhlí, už byla věnována celá řada kešek. V této minisérii kešek se proto chceme věnovat novému Mostu, který začal vznikat v 70. letech minulého století, a to nejprve výstavbou několika panelových sídlišť.  V sídlištích byly domy označovány číslem (stavebního) bloku a asi teprve později dostaly svá popisná a orientační čísla. Snad proto je Most jedno z mála našich měst, kde se dodnes pro panelové domy používá označení „bloky“, a to i tam, kde by se měla používat úřední adresa s popisným, event. s orientačním číslem. Mimochodem, popisná čísla zavedla u nás Marie Terezie už v roce 1770.

Tak v novém Mostě vzniklo několik sídlišť, pro které se vedle oficiálního názvu vžilo označení podle bloků v daném sídlišti, např. tyto „Pětistovky“ nebo poslední „Sedmistovky“. Těmto sídlištím chceme věnovat několik klasických kešek. Tato keška vás zavede na sídliště nazývané Zahradní (asi podle názvů ulic) nebo také Pětistovky, ve kterém je většina panelových bloků s označením „500s“. Jeho hlavní část leží mezi ulicemi Lipová, Topolová, Jana Palacha a Višňová. Další bloky „500s“ jsou pak mezi parkem Šibeník a Rudolickou ulicí. Zajímavostí na tomto sídlišti je např. Aquadrom renovovaný před několika lety.

Protože na sídlištích bývá často přemudlováno a všude je za okny dost zvědavých očí, jsou to kešky spíše menší.  Každopádně buďte při manipulaci s keškami velmi opatrní a pozorní. Místo pro zaparkování poblíž kešky jistě nějaké najdete, např na souřadnicích N 50°29.858‘ E013°38.293‘.

Tato keška patří mezi naše první. Pokud se osvědčí, měly by následovat další. Uvítáme všechny vaše připomínky a náměty.

A number of caches has been given to the old (original) town Most, which was destroyed due to coal mining. Therefore in this miniseries of caches we want to devote to the new town Most, which began to arise in the 70s of the last century, first by the construction of several prefabricated housing estates. There were the houses labelled by numbers of (construction) blocks, and only later they were given with their descriptive and indicative figures. Perhaps that is why the town Most is one of our few cities, where up today we use for prefabricated houses the designation "blocks", even when we should use an official address with the official house numbers. By the way, these official house numbers were introduced in our country by the emperor Maria Theresa in 1770th.

So the new Most has now several housing estates, for which, alongside their official names, we used to use the designation in accordance of the block numbers there, e.g. this "Fivehundreds" or the last "Sevenhundreds". For these settlements we want to dedicate a few classic caches. This cache will take you to a housing estate called “Zahradni” or “500s”, in which occurs the majority of panel blocks with the designation of the "500s". Its main part is located between the streets of Lipova, Topolova, Jana Palacha a Visnova. Next blocks „500s“ are between the park Sibeník and Rudolicka street. One of the interesting place in this settlement should be e.g. Aquadrom renovated a few years ago.

Because there is often “overmuddled” in the settlements, and there is also enough of prying eyes everywhere outside the windows, the caches are rather small. At any rate be very careful and attentive when handling with caches. You will surely find some parking place inside the settlement, e.g. at N 50°29.858‘ E013°38.293‘.
