Rocky by the second bridge Traditional Cache

Continuing my series along route 54.

Inbetween 'the fields' and 'quarter mile tunnel' is this cache

As you travel along route 54 sustrans cycle way is this hide

Route 54 follows the old Mickleover and Mackworth railtrack and I've tried to place this as close as I could to the old 'second bridge' as I could. The bridge is no longer there but the cache is right opposite of where it used to stand. When I and my brother were little it was a big adventure to explore along the disused rail track which closed around the end of the 60s. At that time these feilds were full of kids playing and building dens but sadly there's not very many kids using these feilds anymore.

Take a bike ride or just go for a nice walk and enjoy this lovely bit of free land while it's still here
