San Martino ad Aurogo
La splendida chiesa romanica di S. Martino risale all'XI secolo. Mantenne la stessa struttura fino al Settecento “quando venne rifatto il presbiterio, si costruirono le volte sotto le capriate, si allineò la facciata con il campanile e si affiancò, verso sud, una navatella con un altare dedicato alla Madonna del Càrmine” *.
“II campanile presenta cinque ordini di bifore, con snelle colonnine che alleggeriscono l'imponenza della torre, facendone un gioiello di rara eleganza” *

The beautiful Romanesque church of S. Martino dates back to the eleventh century. It maintained the same structure until the eighteenth century "when it was rebuilt the presbytery, it were built vaults beneath the trusses, the front church was aligned with the bell tower and it was built an altar dedicated to the Madonna del Càrmine" *
