Just southeast of Norwich situated near the picturesque village of Trowse lies the wonderful Whitlingham Country Park. As well being a great place to walk, jog, cycle, sail, picnic or bird watch the Park also offers a huge range of other engaging activities including moth and bat evenings, pond dipping, quarry safaris and canoe trails; in fact the list is endless!
The Park prides itself on being completely inclusive and there is fun for all the family and furry friends of all varieties! There is a wheelchair accessible path around the Great Broad (about 2 miles/3 km) and two all-terrain wheelchairs are available to book from the visitor centre.
The river Yare has its own path and is a lovely walk. Enjoy!
