This geocache needs a knowledge of the first series of Star Trek TV shows, in fact the first episode aired 9 /8/66. The series was created by Gene Roddenberry and was described as a “Wagon Train to the Stars” because Westerns were big and science fiction and fantasy were death on TV. This geocache has a combination lock with letters. The questions are not hard to answer, at least not for me as I’m an old Trekkie. You can always use the internet. At worse you may have to watch the episode to find the answers.
I am putting this near the new parking area that Little Forks Conservatory built on the rail trail in Averill. Read the signs and get a feeling for how important this area was in the lumber era. This is a 3 terrain due to "only" getting one laceration setting it.
To get the combination for the lock you must find the answer to four questions and use the letters designated.
1: The first letter in the first name of Professor Robert Crater’s wife and Dr. McCoy’s former girlfriend.
2: Third number of the Planet Designation spelled out and the first letter of this number.
3: First letter of the type of Vampire which is native to this world
