[MEGA2015.lu] G Nächtlicher Tanz (Vierhärenmark) Mystery Cache

This series tells you a few stories about incredible or strange events in and around Dudelange. The sagas and legends are originally published in German. We try to show you the places where these stories could have taken place. The areas changed, but the stories are still remaining.

Due to some distance problems with other caches in the surroundings it wasn’t possible to place some caches at the place where the stories took place. So don’t be too disappointed.

You'll find the story in the listing, but to find the cache, you first have to solve the riddle and sometimes, you have to read the story to understand how to crack the riddle.

The checker tells you more about the Code for the Bonus-Caches. Solve the riddles from A to M for Bonus 1 and the riddles from N to Z for Bonus 2. Then do the nice Multi Cache GC5P7RM to find the formulas for both Bonus.

Nächtlicher Tanz. (Vierhärenmark)

Zwischen Düdelingen und Peppingen, bei den vier Herrenmarken, standen zwei Grenzaufseher nachts auf Posten in geringer Entfernung voneinander. Bald hörten sie eine schöne Musik, die immer näher kam. Die geheimnisvollen Musiker schlossen um den einen der Grenzaufseher einen Kreis, stimmten einen Walzer an und tanzten mit höllischem Geschrei. Als der Walzer zu Ende war und die Musik ausgeklungen, verschwanden auch die unsichtbaren Tänzer plötzlich wieder. Da eilte der geängstigte Grenzaufseher zu seinem Kameraden, allein dieser war entflohen. Er ging ins Dorf zurück, wo beide wohnten, und rief an dem Hause seines entlaufenen Kameraden. Dieser riss ein Fenster auf und fragte wie sinnverwirrt auf alles, was jener sagte, nur: “Was haben sie gesagt?“

La danse nocturne.

Entre Dudelange et Peppange, près de la borne des quatre seigneurs, se tenaient la nuit à leur poste deux gardes-frontières non loin l’un de l’autre, quand peu de temps après, ils entendirent une belle musique, laquelle se rapprochait peu à peu. Les mystérieux musiciens formèrent un cercle autour de l’un des gardes-frontière attaquèrent une valse et dansèrent en faisant un vacarme infernal. La valse terminée, la musique se tue et les danseurs invisibles disparurent aussi soudainement. C’est là que le garde-frontière complètement terrifié couru vers son camarade, lui seul avait pu s’enfuir. Il retourna au village, là où les deux habitaient et cria devant la maison de son camarade enfuit. Celui-ci ouvra la fenêtre et répondit à tout ce l’autre lui demanda complètement embrouillé « Qu’ont-ils dit ? »

Dancing in the night

Between Dudelange and Peppange, close to the border stone of the four lords, two border guards were on their duty not far away from each other. Soon they heard a nice music coming closer. The mysterious musicians closed a circle around one of the guards and while playing a waltz they were dancing and shouting like hell. At the end of the waltz, as the music ended, the invisible dancers disappeared suddenly. The frightened guard ran to his mate, but this one has gone. He walked back to the village where both were living and shouted at the window of his escaped colleague. This one opened a window and asked, baffled on everything his mate told: „What did they say? “
