This series tells you a few stories about incredible or strange events in and around Dudelange. The sagas and legends are originally published in German. We try to show you the places where these stories could have taken place. The areas changed, but the stories are still remaining.

Due to some distance problems with other caches in the surroundings it wasn’t possible to place some caches at the place where the stories took place. So don’t be too disappointed.

You'll find the story in the listing, but to find the cache, you first have to solve the riddle and sometimes, you have to read the story to understand how to crack the riddle.

The checker tells you more about the Code for the Bonus-Caches. Solve the riddles from A to M for Bonus 1 and the riddles from N to Z for Bonus 2. Then do the nice Multi Cache GC5P7RM to find the formulas for both Bonus.

Ein Förster von Düdelingen war aus dem Walde gekommen und sah über sich hin einen Schwarm Raben fliegen. Er fasste eine Flinte und schoss aus Mutwillen hinein. Da erscholl plötzlich aus der Luft der Ruf: »Ripea blessée! «Zu Hause angekommen, erzählte der Mann seiner Frau, was ihm begegnet war. Da rief die Katze am Herd: »Oh! Ripea blessée! Dann muss ich auch gehen. «Und sofort war die Katze verschwunden.

Un garde forestier de Dudelange sorti de la forêt et remarqua juste au-dessus, une nuée de corbeaux qui volaient. Il épaula un fusil et tira dessus sans raison. C’est alors qu’une voix retenti dans les airs et dit : Ripea blessée! A la maison, l’homme raconta à sa femme ce qui c’était passé. C’est ainsi que le chat près du fourneau cria : « Oh ! Ripea blessée! Alors il faut aussi que je m’en aille. » Et tout de suite le chat avait disparu.

A forester from Dudelange left the forest and saw a swarm of ravens flying over his head. He took his musket and shot willfully at the swarm. Suddenly a shout resounded from above: „Ripea blessée“! Back home, the man told his adventure to his wife. The cat near the stove shouted: „Oh! Ripea blessée! Then I have to go“. So the cat disappeared.
