These are our first set of caches we have placed and we hope you enjoy them. It is a bit of a walk to these caches and can be done two ways depending on the distance you wish to walk. Both will take approx 45 minutes to walk unless like we found when placing these 3 hours with children in tow.
I have placed these caches on a dog walk my late Dad and myself used to walk together, sadly Dad passed away this year, so I have decided to share this lovely walk with others now.
The cache has been placed with the kind permission of Bridge Farm.
Take in the bridge and have a quick game of pooh sticks, who will win? or on a lovely summers day stop and have a paddle or a picnic, as you go further take in the crops which are growing along the path and bump into some of the regular dog walkers who walk this route. Children will love the wood. Further along after your turning at the bale study the grave, who was it for?. Then say hello to the scarecrow, while taking in the view across the fields of the Windmill.
This route in places if you choose will take you over the busy A143 twice and down the verge by the Windmill should you choose this route to it. Carrying on at the Windmill and you can follow the Ixworth Trail down to the Watermill to.
Please DO NOT PARK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE FARM LANE!!!! This is a working farm entrance, if the farmer catches anyone doing this the caches will be removed.
This cache is a small micro cache, you will need to bring a pencila and tweezers for this cache.
