[MEGA2015.lu] T Das Fräulein auf dem Johannisberg Mystery Cache

This series tells you a few stories about incredible or strange events in and around Dudelange. The sagas and legends are originally published in German. We try to show you the places where these stories could have taken place. The areas changed, but the stories are still remaining.

Due to some distance problems with other caches in the surroundings it wasn’t possible to place some caches at the place where the stories took place. So don’t be too disappointed.

You'll find the story in the listing, but to find the cache, you first have to solve the riddle and sometimes, you have to read the story to understand how to crack the riddle.

The checker tells you more about the Code for the Bonus-Caches. Solve the riddles from A to M for Bonus 1 and the riddles from N to Z for Bonus 2. Then do the nice Multi Cache GC5P7RM to find the formulas for both Bonus.

Das verwünschte Fräulein auf dem Johannisberg erscheint oft in dunkeln Nächten auf einem feurigen Wagen sitzend und ihre Haare kämmend; bald sitzt sie im Wagen, bald vorne an der Deichsel. Ein andermal erscheint sie als Schlange und trägt einen goldenen Schlüssel im Munde. Derjenige, welcher sie erlösen will, muss mit seinem Munde den Schlüssel dreimal aus dem Munde der Schlange nehmen und dreimal wieder hineintun. Das Fräulein erscheint nur alle sieben Jahre einmal als Schlange.

La Demoiselle sur le Mont St.Jean

La Demoiselle ensorcelée sur le Mont St.Jean apparait souvent pendant de sombres nuits, sur une calèche en feu, assise en se coiffant ses cheveux ; tantôt elle est assise dans la calèche, tantôt devant sur le timon. Une autrefois elle apparait comme serpent et porte, une clé en or, dans la bouche. Celui qui veut la sauver, doit trois fois retirer et remettre la clé, avec sa bouche, de la bouche du serpent. La Demoiselle n’apparait que tous les sept ans sous la forme d’un serpent.

The maiden of the mount St John.

The damned maiden at the mount St John appears often during dark nights. She is sitting on a fiery chariot, combing her hair. Sometimes she is sitting in the chariot or on the tongue. Some other time she appears as a snake carrying a golden key in her mouth. That one, who wants to release her, has to take the key three times out of the mouth of the snake und put it back three times. The maiden appears as a snake only once each seven years.
