Geocache Description:

Breakfast to celebrate 5 years since team lv2wj hiked to Swallow Rocks.

Tailgate Continental Style breakfast from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m. Juice and milk provided. Bring your own coffee or other desired beverage.

On June 6, 2010, team lv2wj joined HikingSeal's Sunday Morning Hiking group for the first time. The reason for this was their goal being Swallow Rocks GCGF1G (visit link) which was one of only two caches in this particular township in Salt Lake County that qualified for the Salt Lake Townships Challenge GC16EP1 (visit link) . We knew we would never make it on our own, but would need the support of others. The hiking gang was very patient with us as we plodded along on the 9-mile (plus a little) out and back hike. For our first hike! YIKES!! But we made it. And after that when we had a difficult hike our mantra became "We did Swallow Rocks, we can do this!"

We will be ever grateful to those great hikers/cachers who encouraged us that day and started us on many more hiking adventures since that time.

After the breakfast, we will be doing the hike again. Hopefully it won't seem quite as hard this time around. Anyone who wants to join us will be more than welcome! But no commitment needed to come for breakfast. Hope to see you then.
