Welcome to our "Tribute Trail". The caches placed along the Turkey and River Trails in Powhatan State Park are our tribute to some local cachers that helped us when we began geocaching. When searching for these caches, take a moment to remember all of the people that helped start you on your quest for fun! The park is open from dawn until dusk with a small admission fee for parking.
HDJP - We met HDJP at our first Richmond Rally and again at the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching. He is one of the kindest people we know and the most knowledgeable cacher we have ever met. You can ask him about a cache he found 7 years and 20,000 caches ago and he remembers every detail! Thanks for your kindness to all cachers and your generosity to CVGA.
