Back in 2009, when we caught this addiction, this area was not that great for caching, however one of the pioneers in the area were the team of Jim & Linda. Many of their caches were on our list of finds as beginners, and they were kind enough to offer advice when we did our 1st hide, a WSQ. Well time has flown by, a few years ago JimandLinda did a tribute cache to Wi_pattymel, for 3,000 finds, so now we're returning the honor, by doing a 5,000 finds tribute for this special team.
In addition to finding 5,000 caches, there are numerous JimandLinda caches out there that we have had a good time finding, amongst them are the Room To Roam Series, back in the day the Alphabet Soup Series, Wet Maze, Gallagher Marsh, caches that require a hike, and spending time in nature. So JimandLinda, in appreciation of all your hard work, have a fun time finding this tribute! It's a keeper!
As this cache is placed on land owned by the DNR, a geocache notification form has been submitted to the Fond Du Lac Parks and Planning Committee. Caches place on DNR land require approval by the land manager.
