Geocache Description:

Lovely spot, midway up the new trail. 200 feet past the crossing.

Not this one!

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful part of the Margaret's Way trail! After leaving the old campground roads, and the steep uphill to summit the minor ridgeline, the trail briefly starts down and crosses several small tributaries to Tibbetts Creek. This is basically the last, and signals the start of the beautiful switchbacks up to Chybinski.

Enjoy the old snags, the boulders, and the peace and quiet of the forest!

There is a bit of mud on this stretch of the trail, as the terrain and hikers adjust to each others presence. But what would a PNW hike be, without a little mud?!

And speaking of mud, congrats to Muddy Teapot for the FTF!
