Gateway to Avoca 2 (Canterbury) Traditional Cache

Placed on the Craigieburn Road. If you are to carry on to Avoca Homestead near the end of the road you will find our first ever cache placed there, and a few others perhaps. You will also find a large number of gates...many of which may interest the odd geocacher :)

Craigieburn Road follows the Midland Line out to Slovens Bridge and the historic Avoca Homestead over Broken River. A wonderful area to explore, but You might want to take a passenger or two to deal with the gates. WATCH OUT FOR TRAINS ON THE CROSSINGS!!!!
