Geocache Description:

Cache # 254.

Bremer Bay is such a beautiful place but is sadly lacking in caches.  Robmc and I decided to place two more to encourage visitors to this scenic and historic area.

This is a simple offset multi with some questions to be answered before you set off to find GZ.

This cache provides sensational views across John Cove, Wellstead Estuary and across to the mountains of Fitzgerald River National Park.  It is well worth the visit.... come and see for yourself.

The Cache:

Sealing began in earnest here after ABCD

In EFGH regulation of the industry began although sealing continued up until the early 1920s.

In the early 1840s there were up to 200 American whaling ships operating in Western Australian waters. The last one left in JKLM

The Cheynes Beach whaling station was Australia's last and closed in PQRS

To find GZ - 34.23.BH(D+P) 119 23.FLS

The cache is a fruit container with log sheet and pencil and there is room for SWAG and trackables.

A maintenance plan is in place for this cache and ~Tango~ has kindly agreed to look after this for us.

CONGRATULATIONS - FTF - adinache!
