Con questa Cache si vuole indicare il bivio sulla via alta , nei boschi di Mallare che porta da una parte alla Colla di Cravareza e dall'altra alla strada alternativa al raggiungimento della cache di San Giovanni. Chi volesse fare l'anello può, a suo piacimento, fare prima questa strada che evita il fiume e per rientrare quella che attraversa il fiume oppure vice versa, questa strada è meglio conservata di quella bassa perche meno esposta all'acqua. durante l'avvicinamento incontrerete diverse cascine più o meno ben conservate, testimonianza di un tempo in cui nella valle vivevano 300 persone che lavoravano nel bosco nella coltura del castagno e del taglio.
