Geocache Description:

Take a nice little stroll in a small park in Portsmouth that offers a bit of history and is the highest point on all of Aquidneck Island.

Heritage Park in Portsmouth is the site of the Battle of Rhode Island during the Revolutionary War. An informational sigh (that's a bit hard to read) can be found in the middle of the park detailing the history of the area. Some of you may recall finding a previous cache or two in this park as well throughout the years.

There is only one accessible area to the park, which is the parking area at the coordinates below. The cache itself is located in the woods behind the park and may require a bit of a bushwhack to get to. Oddly enough, there were a few old chairs around GZ where the cache is hidden, so if you'd like a free chair, it's yours! Please replace the cache, which is a small lock-and-lock box, as found. Thanks, and hope you enjoy!
