Geocache Description:

Woodruff Field was an early home to pro baseball in Peoria.  It has a unique block wall that dates back to when the park was built in 1923.  On and off over the years, the field hosted teams like the Peoria Distillers, Peoria Tractors and an early version of the Peoria Chiefs. The field is now part of the Peoria Park District.

The container will be stocked on occasion with a limited supply of trading items with a baseball theme. Bring a pen.
