I tried to hide this one before to fit the theme of the location and it was stolen before it could even be published. 5 Trackables went along with it. I have placed it in plain view of a security camera I look over, so this will be checked on almost daily by me...from afar ;)
The area is not dangerous, but the geocache could be considered valuable to some fisherman, and a crooked one may just try to abscond with it.
Other measures were put in place to make sure this doesn't happen, but I don't want to give it away. Please do not come from the direction of the restaurant. The managers don't mind visitors to the lake, but I'm sure they don't want a trail formed through the landscaping. Please park at the far side of the parking lot (coordinates proided) and go around the side of the building and walk on the sidewalk.
The lake is NOT allowed to be fished. It is actively taken care of and maintained by GCTC and the store.
This cache isn't terribly close to the lake, but please be advised that Florida Banded Water Snakes and Water Moccasins have occasionally been seen in the area; A 6 ft. Alligator calls the lake home, but it's used to seeing humans. DO NOT FEED THE GATOR
Finally, there is security that protects the assets that sit outside the store starting around 9 p.m. everyday but Sunday; Sunday they are there at 7 p.m. They will be informed about the cache, but the security company uses multiple security guards so there's a chance you won't get to it at night if they don't know about it. In other words, try to make this a day cache.
Shouldn't be too hard to find and I hope the geocache gives a chuckle to some. Try not to pick it up, but if you have to, then please put it back the way you found it.
This cache was hidden with permisson from the store owner, since it is on their property.
Congrats to 43Holly for the FTF!!
