Plenty of room to get off the road on either side. The large pond nearby is a water reservoir for the vinyard. Most vinyards store up to a months supply of water to get them through the summer in the event that the irrigation schemes are turned off due to low river or aquifer levels. From here you get a good view across the vines and down to the Wairau River below, and across to the Richmond Ranges.
