It's a shame that this area is littered so much, especially as these walls should be considered sacred. The Walls of Xaman-Ha were built 1200-1500BC to protect the buildings (now ruins) located to the east. Made of limestone, the average width can reach more than 2m (6') and its length exceeds 360m. After finding this cache, follow the walkway to the next cache Cacha Linda Maya Playa where you'll see these ruins. You can make it a circle route and not have to backtrack. This is a nice easy grouping of 4 caches to do near the ferry on Juarez, including the Playa del Carmen virtual.
**Note: as of Oct. 2016, there is a green metal fencing surrounding much of the area, but almost opposite the cache, there is a open gate so you can access the cache still.
