These caches are set in the green heart of Maidstone. It is a large park with open spaces, a large lake and some little wooded hidey-holes. There are a number of childrens play areas at different locations throughout the park, along with an 18 hole pitch-and-putt and 18 hole putting course, with a cafe close by. It becomes very busy during the summer and at weekends, as it is so popular with young families, dog walkers, and those who just want a nice few hours out and about.
This loop should take a couple of hours, but there are other caches in the park that can be included in a good day out.
The car park located at the south eastern corner of the park (School Lane) is the "start" point if being done in sequence, but there are a number of car parks around the park, and the caches can be done in any order. NB The car park for the Leisure Centre has a 3 hour free time limit, but all others are free.
