Geocache Description:

Enjoy a beautiful view over the little town of Montagu, this time from a different angle. Montagu, once known as Agter Cogman's Kloof, was founded on the farm Uitvlugt in 1851 and named after the Colonial Secretary of the Cape, John Montagu.

The Route:

The walk should take you about 30 to 45 minutes to reach the cache. Start by parking somewhere at the end of Cogmans Close in Montagu-Suid and taking a stroll through the Eucalyptus forest. Once you're at the back of the forest, continue up the mountain past a pine tree until you reach the town name. From there it's just another short climb up to the cache.

Enjoy the view and scenery and please, don't disturb the area containing the white rocks. One year they were mysteriously rearranged to spell out MATRIX.
