This cache is located in State Gamelands area #37. It can be accessed from Firetower Road, continue up the dirt road all the way to the end at the top of the hill. The road from the lower gate to the main parking area is dirt and is a rough road, some areas may have deep ruts and rocks, so be careful if driving a car with low clearance. Parking is located in the SGL parking lot near the tower. If the lower gate is closed, you will have to park at the alternate parking area (Parking P-3) and hike up the road to the cache location. Distance from the Alternate P3 Parking area to the main parking area is approximately 1 mile. This gate is most likely to be closed during winter months.
Park in the main parking lot near the fire tower area. Head down the trail marked "Mid State Trail". The cache is a short distance off the main trail. The cache container is an ammo box with a variety of items stocked in it. The ammo box was recycled from one of my archived caches, and I meant to put all new swag in it, but forgot to stop at Wal-Mart for some items. I didn't realize it until after I got up here, and it was too far to go back, so I apologize, next time I come up here to check on it, I will restock it with some better themed items.
